"It Slices, It Dices"

I've written about how much I love Steven Strogatz's book The Joy of x and how I have a class set of his marvelous book and how I've used anticipation guides to get my students to read and debate selected chapters from this book.

So, I won't do that again.  But here's another anticipation guide for the first part of his chapter "It Slices, It Dices" [aka an introduction to the integral].

If you don't have his book handy, you can read the chapter in the New York Times Opinion Pages here.

  1. Do you have anticipation guides for all of the chapters? I would LOVE to do this in my classes next year!

    1. Sadly, no. :( Just the ones I've posted (this one, "Change we can believe in," and the differential equations/Romeo and Juliet one).

  2. A lot of sites are attempting to duplicate exactly what we are doing however unsuccessfully, they are providing you a lot of points to download and install and also essentially compeling you to download and install the web content in order to utilize their hacking device. In addition it was very carefully checked using numerous android variations on numerous tools such as computer systems, phones and also tablet computers.

  3. Before the end of May 2022, the district-by-district final selection list in school-by-school will be released. The entrance exam hall ticket has now been successfully downloaded, Hall Ticket 2022 along with the exam schedule, a photograph of the student, and information about the designated exam centre. The Department of Higher Education is a government agency that oversees higher education. The exact date is unknown. Aspirants will not be given a Hall Ticket.
